Katja Hintze, M.A. phil. is the founder and CEO of Stiftung Bildung – a charitable founda-tion that gives civil society engagement for education a nationwide voice. It supports participation and diversity in education. In particular, the foundation strengthens kindergarten and school support clubs as well as parents associations. Katja Hintze studied philosophy, communication sciences, journalism and business ethics. She worked as a cooperation manager in the private sector.

Katja Hintze is co-chair of the expert forum for school issues in the National Platform "Education for Sustainable Development " of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The National Platform is part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, which seeks to empower people around the world through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to transform themselves and society in the spirit of sustainability.

In addition, Katja Hintze advises multipliers from the business and non-profit sectors on how new forms of learning and cooperation can be achieved by strengthening voluntary engagement.
