Michael studied public economics (M.Sc.) and political science (B.A.) and is particularly interested in digital policy. Since 2016, he has been working for the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany, a non-profit organization dedicated to open knowledge, open data, transparency and participation. There he leads the project Code For Germany and works together with the OK Lab Community on creating useful applications around open data. Furthermore, he coordinates the Open Government Civil Society Network, which promotes Open Government in Germany.
