Chief Strategist Officer, La Marina de València


I am an urban economist, the Chief Strategy Officer at La Marina de València, Valencia’s waterfront redevelopment agency and a co-founder at Urbego, an international network of urban professionals.
My work and research are focused on the interaction between the economy, public policies, cities, culture, identities and innovation. I received an honorable mention in the International Young Planning Professionals Award (2012) and the Spanish Social Entrepreneur Award (2013).
I have been a researcher at Econcult (Cultural Economics Research Unit, University of Valencia) and a visiting researcher at the Institute for Culture and Society at Western Sydney University (Australia) and FLACSO (Ecuador). I hold a BA and MA in Economics at University of Valencia and an MSc in Economics and Geography at Utrecht University.
