Christoph Jessen, born 1946, is since 2011 chairman of the Dialogforum Feste Fehmarnbeltquerung, an innovative round table ensuring citizen participation in the planning and building process of the 18 km long tunnel between Fehmarn (D) and Lolland (Dk). With its autobahn and highspeed train connection between Lübeck and Copenhagen it is among the biggest infrastructure projects in Europe
As retired Ambassador, serving a. o. in Denmark and Belgium, he has experience in international and multilateral conference diplomacy. After German reunification he served for 4 years as advisor to the newly formed government of the land Brandenburg.
