Mariana Salgado is the design director in Inland design, an innovation and design lab in the Finnish Immigration Service. In Finnland we co-design services with immigrants and co-workers. In addition, she produces and hosts Diseño y diáspora, a podcast on design for social change (in Spanish and Portuguese). Previously, she has worked in cultural heritage and global health sectors always under a participatory framework. She has a doctoral degree in Interaction design from the Media Lab, Aalto University.
