Innovation Developer, Bundesdruckerei GmbH, Berlin, Germany
Michael Windisch, 37, began training as an IT specialist in the field of application development in 2003 and passed the IHK examination in 2007. After that, he started out as a software developer at a logistics company, where he also took over the activities of system administrator.
Michael Windisch has been working at Bundesdruckerei GmbH since 2009 and was also hired here as an application developer. His responsibilities at that time were the administration of the server systems for the helpdesk system and the self-service portal for public authorities. This work provided him with a deep insight into the requirements of IT baseline protection as specified by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and led him to train as an IT Security Consultant.
Since 2017, he has been working in the Innovations division of Bundesdruckerei GmbH, where he is responsible for the latest technologies centred on ‘secure digital identities’.
