Michele D'Alena has experience in the social, private and Public Administration sectors and deals with technology, social innovation processes and change with a "civic impact". He collaborates with the Foundation for Urban Innovation, a former Urban Center in Bologna, where he coordinates the Civic Imagination Office: the goal is to support urban innovation by promoting collaboration activities towards all citizens, both locally and internationally , communities and businesses, with particular attention to those who are usually excluded.
Michele D'Alena has worked with Regione Toscana, Unioncamere - the Italian Union of Chambers of Commerce, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Germany, the Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and the O-One communications agency. Dealing with social-health integration, social and intercultural communication and active citizenship, he worked for ANPAS ER and Azienda Sanitaria di Bologna. For the University of Bologna he has been involved in territorial marketing and social media. D'Alena is actively engaged as an activist in RENA.
