Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions set out the legal rules applicable to Creative Bureaucracy Festival. Participants shall be bound by these terms and conditions upon registering for the Conference and are advised to read and understand these terms carefully before registering. The Organizer will not accept any conditions contradictory to or deviant from these general terms and conditions.
Responsible for the organization of the Conference is Verlag Der Tagesspiegel GmbH („Organizer“).
Registration to the Conference must be done through the online registration system. The number of participants is limited. Participants will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration details. Please notify any corrections to your registration immediately.
A full refund is possible if the cancellation is received up to 14 days prior to the event. After that, half the participation fee will be charged. Upon non-appearance or cancellation on the day of the event, full payment is due.
The cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by letter to the address Verlag Der Tagesspiegel GmbH, Politik und Konzepte, Creative Bureaucracy Festival, Askanischer Platz 3, 10963 Berlin.
The Organizer does not accept any liability for the currentness, correctness and completeness in respect to conference documentation and content.
The Organizer will not assume any responsibility whatsoever for any damage or injury to persons or property during the Conference.
The Participants agree that the Organizer accepts no liability for any losses incurred by participants and/or accompanying persons, nor loss of, or damage to, any luggage and/or personal belongings.
6. Photographs etc.
The Organizer may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures and moving images taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the Conference for reports of the Conference and in the follow up to the conference.
All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration purposes will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the Conference. The Organizer will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfilment of the purpose(s) identified above.
8. Severability Clause
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
All agreements between the Organizer and the Participant and all disputes which may arise between the Organizer and the Participants shall be exclusively subject to German law. Court of jurisdiction shall be Berlin.
